Hey guys got a dumb question for you guys.

I did the k20 swap and i looked around for how to relocate your battery the "correct" was but really didnt find any honest answers. SO im askin you guys what exactly do i need to make this happen and put this thing in my truck. I have a optima yellow top batt. so im assuming it doesnt really need ventage but who know. CAn i keep the same harness now and just extend the wires longer with 4 gauge wire or what and also whats the use for a distribution block i read about. Thx guys,

i don't think it will do your car much good if you put it in your truck!

seriously though, if you want to put it in your trunk, yes, get at least 15 feet of 4 ga wire, if not 2 ga. yes, you can just extend the current power harness wires with the new wire back to the truck. distribution blocks are used to tie multiple large gauge wires togethers cleanly. if your K20 wires are similar to the stock set, you could use a 2-to-1 block. you could put the 2 stock wires (alternator and relay box) into the one side of the block and then the 4ga wire off the other side. that's just one way to do it.
