I need two amps one for alpine type r 6 1/2 components and type r 6x9's. I also need one for kicker solobaric L5 12. I plan on buying kicker amps just don't know the amount of watts needed and amount of channels.

Check out the rms on the speakers and then check ou the rms on the amps, find amps that match ur speakers needs. it is that simple.

I know that much i just don't understand the ohms and channels i think i'm gonna buy a kicker mono 600 for the sub and 600x4 for the mids?

here is a question for u what is the rms for the speakers what is the rms for the amps u wanna buy..... some people need more info....

The RMS on the Alpines is 50 for both pairs and the subs RMS is 750. The amp for the Alpines is 300x4 but I heard I will need 600x4. The sub amp is a mono and that is 600x1. They are both Kicker amps.

is it 300x4 for RMS or peak power? i was lookin at the kicker 4ch amps and they have a 75x4(rms) one and a 100x4 one....u should be fine with the 75X4 one and as for the sub amp the 300x1 mono amp should give u a nice thump if u wire the sub right
