Infinty Kappa Question

Aight i want to put a set of infinity kappa 63.5I 6 1/2 (3-way) in my rear deck....i check the mounting depth....but i am unsurewhat else i will need....i am pretty sure these will fit...if i am wrong please let me know. I did a search and found that some people use 6x9 cut out kits to fit 6.5 in their place. Where can i purchase a set of these....or will they have to be custom made...if so, i saw someone on here about a week or so ago that made them and i cant find the link.

Help me out, i know the question of what fits where has been asked a million and 1 times, but i could not find anything on this particualr speaker

Also the fronts....if i put a 5 1/4 speaker instead of a 6 1/2 with an adaptor on it...that should bee good right.... i am thinking about the kappa's for that as well. Thanks for everything!

might be able to fit a 6.5 in the front too, it is quite speaker specific. if i remember, the new kappa coaxials are pretty low mount depth, and if they arent, they make a 6.5 gm kinda model, where you lose the angled tweeter, but have a minimal mounting depth.

those should definitely fit, if you decide to go for a 6.5 up front rather than a 5.25.

as far as fitment in the back, wish i could help, but ill have to let another 7th genner answer that one, ive got no idea. hope i as able to help on the front tho!

Well i took the car to circuit city, and i should have figured out right away when the guy was like uhhh whats an infinity kappa.....that i was dealing with a real pro with installation. The depth is i think a lil deeper than 2 inches....which should be a slight problem with install in the front. Where would i get a mounting tool that would raise the speaker so i could take away a small amount of that space....

I have heard some bad stuff about scosche parts....well actually mixed thoughts.....whats the deal....these guys good or not. They have some universal speaker adapter that makes a 6.5 a 6x9...anyone use these?
