amp not working

ok, here's the deal, i brought my car in for oil change this morning, and somehow or rather, they unplugged the power. This caused my headunit to **** up. the headunit won't recognize that there is a cd in it, or eject the cd out. so i unplugged the battery. when i plugged it back on again, the headunit worked fine. thats good.

the problem now is that the amp is not working. the light that shows it is receiving power is not lit. so i don't know if its because the amp is not getting power, or if the amp died on me.

i've checked the fuse and they all look fine.

anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

check your connections, naked spots, etc., if need be, take it to a car audio shop and have them test the amp

ok, i checked the power from the battery to the amp. that is working fine. then i took another battery and tested the amp. amp is working fine too. now i'm wondering if it is the connection between the amp and the headunit that is screwing things up. i'm going to take out my headunit 2nite to check the connection. is there any way to check is it is the headunit? i have a kenwood excelon kdc x859.

maybe the remote turn on? try check that wire, it's typically blue, turn the HU on and see if there's any power coming down the line.
