Hey everyone, I currently have a JL Audio 12w3-Alpine M300 and JL Audio XR650CSi-HiFonics ZX6000. My system will go pretty loud, but I was just wondering if getting rear 3-way speakers and running them off my HU will make a difference in the way my system sounds?

Does anyone have any recommendations on rear 6X9 3-way speakers that will sound pretty good?

id personally reccommend getting some 6.5 component woofers and making plates, to be honest. if your looking for the best performance in your sound.

I have a set of 6.5 components sitting around, for now i have no sound coming from the back speakers because i don't feel like hooking up the stock 6x9's......i'd just be putting some speakers in the back for the sole purpose of people sitting in the back having something to listen to. When it's just me in the car they'll be off.

i hate being a rear passenger in a car with rear speakers. i cant hear the conversation up front, only music. its like a barrier between the front ppl and the rear people.

i could care less abotu foot room, comfort, ease of getting in and out of the car. thats why i always call shotgun. freaking rear speakers
