4.NVE-N851A Alpine DVD Rom Navigation System
5.TUE-T011A Alpine TV Tuner
6.TUA-T020XM Alpine XM Tuner
7.RUX-4280 Alpine R.A.C.C. System
8.(2)MRV-F540 Alpine 4 Channel Amplifier
9.(2)MRD-M500 Mono Amplifier(1 per voice coil)
10.SPX-177A Alpine Type-X 6 1/2" Front speakers

12.SPX-137A Alpine Type-X 5 1/4" Center Channel Speaker
13.SWR-1521D Alpine Type-R 15"
Cost= Lots of money
Im actually using my OEM center counsel for my center channel. I sanded it down added an ABS ring where my speaker is gonna mount and cut out my cup holders. Then I glued the ring to the counsel and filled the sides with Duraglass (a mix of bondo and strands of fiber glass) for strength all thats left is more sanding poly primer and painting.

Yeah, i was actually kidding...but that would be cool! I actually want to do it myself, but I just need someone to show me how to work with 'glass properly...basically some tips and tricks.
Great equipment, however did you put any thought into the design of your setup/layout? Few questions, did you remove your spare tire, if so why not build your sub in the spare well, or even your amps for that matter? If you didn't remove the spare, WHY?
I could be wrong, however I had heard that the Si install kit will work for the Civic , and also allows to install 2 DIN units in the dash. I do not install anymore, so I have not had the opportunity to check this out for sure. The center channel looks good, but did you put any angle towards the rear, (15-20 degrees), since mid to high frequencies are directional, this may be beneficial for the sake of imaging.
Well good luck on the rest of your system. One more note, using the spare well for the sub would probably save you nearly 60lbs. in wood weight, so you may want to consider that option. You could still port/vent the box this way as well. Please, no fired up b/s responses, this is meant to be constructive critism from an experienced individual to help out with this project.
Good luck!

man i wanna know about the glass myself i would just love to know how to work that..problem is ->CANTSEEME your in cali, im in ga...maybe u will have to make a DIY on how to work glass? would be sweet.
and regarding the spare... i am putting a system in my car and considered putting amp and sub in the well for it...but after needing my spare twice in owning the car for one year... i decided to keep it right were it is.

I did a search, followed the whiterabbit, and printed all of your posts...had them in hand as i was trying it! Re-read over and over.
It just helps to have someone actually there to ask questions of
I hate alpine, mainly because of bad experiences with an entire spectrum of their products but the setup looks killer, you did a nice job up front, but how the hell did you get 2 DIM units in the dash?

I post here to see what people think so criticisim is always taken well, but to answer some of your questions I didn't build into the wheel well because I have alot of **** to hide, I have 5 sets of crossovers the brain to my monitor the brain to my processor, my tv tuner, my xm tuner, well you get the point just to much down there to try to glass into it and why worry about weight when we have a slow *** car anyway. But remember this is under construction I'm working on trying to fit 2 15" subs and 6 amps so bare with me. Imaging I dont worry much about cause of Time Correction! I have time aligned every speaker in my car and the Imaging is great.
CantSeeMe...I'm too friggin' lazy to do my Time Correction. Can you give me the numbers to each speaker to adjust my head unit too? I read the manual, but I'm just a lazy ****...Oh yeah, your set up is sweet!!!!!! Hey, any deals on the Ai-Net 6 disc CD Changer? Circuit City sells them for $299 and price has not got done for 6+ months now. Appreciate your help. Thanks,
Michael
