Rep Power: 0 Alpine HU Glare/Angle
Hey all...
I have an Alpine 7800 series HU (dont remember the exact number) in my 02 EX couple. The problem is is that because of the high install location, and the angle of the head unit, the viewing angle is not the best it could be. It's prety dim at night, I even had to disconnect the auto dimmer wire that dims the unit when I turn my parking/headlights on. Even with that wire cut, it's still pretty dim. In daylight, when the sun is out, it virtually impossible to see. I need a less severe angle, but I don't know how to go about that. Anyone have this same problem?

Rep Power: 314 id do a search, your definitely not along! many many many many many people have this exact same problem, and there have been some pretty crazy fixes done by a bunch of members of this board.
search out some of the other posts, you can find fixes that range from deck relocation to faceplate relocation to recessed mounting and more!
