Rear deck rattles
I just had someone install rear speakers into my sedan. But the thing is now CONSTANTLY rattling. It even rattles when I go over bumps. I looked from the trunk up and there are 7 clips holding the deck in place. What can I do?

I kind of have the same problem with my kickers, the deck rattles when i turn the radio up. I changed the rear speakers as well. Just make sure that the clips are not only attached to the car but to the rear deck as well. In my car they moved around loosly so when i was puttin it back some fell out of the rear deck. I'm thinking of redoing it, what i would do is use some 3M double sided tape and tape it down. Check which areas the rattle is comming from. If anyone has another suggestion let me hear it.

I don't have any speakers in my rear deck, but this is what I did. I took a black t-shirt and tore it up. I made long 1/2 inch wide strips of 3 layers of the cloth and used a wooden ruler to stuff the shirt between the back window and dash (have to work around the back light). It works great, and I wish I would have used this method first before trying expanding foam on my back dash. Sometimes the cloth pops up, but it is hardly noticible because it is black, and it is super easy to stuff back in there.
Well I had a rattle and the only thing that I did to get rid of it was removed it, fatmatted it, and to this day no rattle has come from the deck. Now everything else in my car rattles. I bet that the people who did the install didn't realize that some of the clips didn't come out with the deck, rather they remained in the metal frame and when they put the deck back on, the clips didn't attach to the deck.
there are also more than clips that hold in teh rear deck, it actually slides into place as it approaches the glass, if those clips are resting on their places rather than in them, your deck could easily bounce up and hit teh glass, id double check that too.
