Queston on DIY Custon Sub Trunk

Here's the link if you haven't seen it...

Will the subs sound nice up front w/ them positioned like that...

and is there anyway we can get around moving the spare tire... i got 2 10's.

no way to getting around moving the spare cuz thats there the subs end up going. UNLESS you make a WHOLE new 'fake' trunk floor.

There are some designes out there for a type of floor sub box that goes around the spare tire, i cant think of the address but when i do i will post it here.

since that box is made for two 12's.... and i'm going to put in two 10's...

will i have to reconfigure the box... or should i just use the same..

youd also have to reconfigure it to get the right airspace for your specific subs.

yeah, but in the center the spare has a tendancy to scrape. also holding it on that flmsy metal....... theres is a definite long term problem keeping it centered! ill admit it works great short-term....

moving it to teh side requires some rather hefty work, tho, so that cna get a bit tricky. piece of cake tho if your fearless around metal.

I did this DIY with a 15" and the sound is great! My tire is also siting in my back seat at the moment until I can figured out where the DIY is for relocating it under my car. If you wan't a pic. Look under my profile, there is one there.

i have this with one Infinity Perfect 12.1 in that setup and although it only has about 200 watts going to it, it sounds really great and you can feel it all the way through the car better. the bass hits your feet leggs back and head really well.
