Question MP3 CD player question...
Just wondering if installing a MP3 CD player head unit affects the security system?

Security system in a 7th gen? No it doesnt. I know that in the 6th gen's the keyless was somehow wired through the HU. But not on the 7th gens. I have a different HU, and an aftermarket alarm, and no problems here.

Oh ok yeah I was just wondering because my friend has a '97 Si and he mentioned about the HU and security system. I have the factory security system on mine.

i have a 2001 dx and i have no security system in it, im not sure for the other models though.
