Wondering if it is normal for side marker to get hot...too much current?

Hey guys,

Im posting this question in this forum as it relates to wiring and such. I just put in some Ractive side markers, and I noticed that the side markers get pretty warm when touching it. Im wondering if this is normal? Also do I need to have a concern about the side markers drawing too much current? Need some help guys. Thanks.

it gets warm cause its a lightbulb. check yrou reading lamp, it'll get hot too.

lightbulbs dont draw much current at all. how long is yrou maglight gonna last before you need to change out teh batteries? your car battery will be jsut fine with the extra load.

like a semi-truck playing tug-of-war with an s2000. the truck wont even feel it.
