Bass CD skipping
i got my system a week ago, JVC deck, sony amp, and one rockford 12' sub. it sound really good and all, but sometimes if i have the volume up too high, when the bass comes on, the CD skips, it is really anoying, what can it be from and what should i do?
Who installed the equipment? Are you sure the head unit is in the dash secure? Do you have any electrical equipment in the car that would drain a lot of power? Is it always skipping at the same spot on the same CD or is it whenever the bass hits on any CD? What model head unit is it?

it was professionally installed, and it skips whenever the bass is very high at any CD, it this model

could be a few things. Either your bass is so loud it's actually shakin gthe unit enough to cause it to skip, or when the bass hits your amp is sucking so much power out of the electrical system that the HU doesn't have enough power, or you just have a bad deck.
