I don't know if any one out there has ever build a pacman style enclosure but thats what I'm planning on doing. I know that one of the most important factors in building this is the angle of the mouth opening because the box faces forward. I have helped a couple of guys at the shop i used to work at put 12 12's in a blazer and 24 12's in an astro van. The blazer was insane. The astro van was louder but only about 3 feet in front of the pacman. The mouth of the pacman was to open and the spl didnt get to the dash.

I'm looking to put the mouth opening where the rear seats fold down

Let me know what the think. I'm trying to get max spl out of 4 12" subs without taking out my back seat.

ummm..why? Youre going to be louder with less subs in the correct box.

alex, the idea is to give them the proper box, however, the angle they sit at will affect phazing in the cabin, and the proper angle *should* in effect "focus" the spl at the windshield or kick area or driver seat, etc etc....

I'll ask around 2k1, ive never considered building this kinda box, so ive got no specifics about it off the top of my head....
