help choosing an amp... noob jl

i got a 10w7, and im wondering whether to get the jl 250.1 jl 500.1 or jl 1000.1, i think its a hundred more for the 500, if tha matters. if u kno of a better amp for the w7, suggestit. By the way, should i get a box from jl like i been seeing or should i get a custom made one at an audio place? by the way, is it gonna be a big box and is just one 10w7 with an amp gonna be loud enough or do i need another one or more subs?

Get the 500.1 if you need to save money, it will play, but not to it's fullest potential. If you want ***** to the wall volume and SQ, get the 1000.1. Both are excellent amps, I have two 500.1's, and I love them.

Other awesome amps to look at are the Phoenix Gold Ti line....the 800.1 would do nicely.

As far as needing more subs, definately NOT. That 10W7 will blow you away if you get the 1000.1 for it.

civic2k2 is an unknown quantity at this point
I will agree Mystic if your on a budget get the 500/1 but if thats not an issue the 1000/1 will make that bad boy rock. My friend has 3 w7 10's running a 500/1 to each sub and his car pounds so frickin hard.
