Xplod amp problem?

So a few days ago, I was driving and had my system on and suddenly it faded out. So i'm like ok what the hell? I turn it off (via the switch i installed on the remote turn on), leave it off, turn it back on and it works for a little then fades out. I turn it off again and turn it back on and i hear it kick maybe almost once before it dies out. I looked on the amp and the 'overcurrent' light is on. I didn't make any sharp turns or anything that I know of and all of the connections seem alright (didn't check inside the box yet, something might've fubared in there).. but other than that it's fine. What could've gone wrong?

The only things i can think of to check is first the fuse, the other day the glass around my fuse cracked and my sub kept cutting on and off. Secondly, check the ground. It may not be a good one. Make sure it is making full contact with a sanded metal surface. Lastly, check inside the box at all the connections. Some wires may be crossed. If none of that works, take your amp into a car audio place and have them check it.
