I have had my 12" Eclipse Aluminum for almost 9 months now ....time to upgrade .... haha

So, how would a

10W7 or 12W7
Kicker 1200.1 or Kicker 600.1

compare to my

12" Eclipse Aluminum
Kicker 400.1

I currently have a small box, about 1 cu ft. I would like to keep things that size to maximize my trunk room.

I really need to take a trip and find a shop that carries these bad boys and get a good demo of one.

Thanks guys ....

alot louder, alot cleaner.

they will sound exactly the same, the 12w7 and 10w7, installed properly, only teh 12w7 will hit about 5-10 Hz lower. may not seem like alot, but the 10w7 realistically quits at 30ish. not to say you cant hear 30 and below, its jsut not flat anymore at that point.

and i hope those kickers put out 600 and 1200 at 2 ohms, cause those are 3 ohm speakers.......

1 cube is slightly small for the 10w7 but serviceable.

too small for the 12.

either case id reccommend rebuilding the box. 1.4 for sq for the 10w7, you could technically go down to 1.2ish, but i certainly (this is gross, BTW) wouldnt go any lower than 1 cube, and id highly reccommend even having a 1 cube box already building a new one.
