Lightbulb Surging power...

When I¡¦m sitting at an idle at night with just my lights on, my power surges. Heard that this was normal for the dx¡¦s. I was wondering could I get around this by putting a capacitor on the battery.

Thanx,
Omega

It's probably not worth spending the money for a cap just for that one purpose...how big of a surge are you talking about?

Everything dims for about a second with or without my system on. I dont like the idea of having a power spike like that. Its kind of like having a fly buzzing in your ear every so often grrrr.

i wouldnt worry abotu that at all, it slasts for a couple seconds, right? cap wont help a draw that long. nor will a battery.

its not a big deal, if it were, honda would issue a fix.

thats not a surge, a surge would have been if everything lit up for a second really really brightly

Sounds like its a momentary drop in power from the fan or ac kicking on or something.
