'74 ford truck question...

OK, I'm not expecting too much help, but you guys are the first people I come to for advice. I'm installing a cd player in a '74 F250, and I can't think of a good ground point. It's sitting on the floor for now so I don't have to cut the brackets from the original stereo, and the original only had 3 wires, a power wire, a speaker (+) wire, and a universal negative(I'm assuming). So I have to find a ground point that won't have too much alternator whine, and I'm going on maybe 10" of wire. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I realize this should probably go in the I.C.E. forum, but it just seemed so out of place that O.T. was the only place for it.

just pick a spot, sand it down to bare metal and bolt it to the car using a star washer so it really bites into te metal
