Question Where to put Alpine SBS-0715 center speaker?

I'm thinking about putting an Alpine SBS-0715 center speaker somewhere. If anyone has it, please share where you placed it, and even if not, I'd just like some suggestions and opinions on where you might place it.

yup...there it is...its not too big, so i'm thinking maybe around the lighter place, or just stick it on the dash...but it'd probably look ugly on the dash

it will probly sound like ***...when was the last time a 2 inch speaker with 20 watts sounded good.. I would spend the money and have something built to house at least a 5.25 but thats just me and i have never heard this alpine unit.

Why do you even want this speaker? Are you running a DVD system or something? For it to sound right (the center channel playing just voices) you need a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital or DTS decoder. That center channel was not designed for music reproduction. Not to mention you would get far better sound out of a component center channel. If it's truly a full range speaker, it will sound horrible with music....it's response is 20 hz to 30 khz....that means its acting as a tweeter, mid, and sub bass driver.

Its just not possible to get all those frequencies out of one driver at the same time and have it sound good. Especialy not with 20 watts.
