Lost DIN sleeve(pocket)

ok i lost the DIN sleeve(pocket) to my cd player anyone know where i can buy another one or how to fabricate another one?

try ebay??? or possibly a local install shop. They might have a couple extra around, you never know.

oh! you cna make one out of backstrapping. yoru audioshop has short lengths of it, and you can get whole spools of it at yrou hardware store. if they dont know what your talkign about, they sometimes call it "plumbers tape"

yuou could totally fabricate that bracket out of that stuff, if you didnt wanna buy dealer parts.

roll at hardware store is like $1.50

ok, now that i REALLY understand...

that matal bracket is called the "cage" for the radio. your local shop should have some lying around.

some cars mount the radio without using it. these cars install their radios "iso-mount" style. when a shop puts in a radio, they have the cage just extra. so often times shops will save it, just in case, in a bin somewhere.

i guarantee theres gotta be a shop in yrou area thatll have a bin a cages, and if they are an authorized dealer of teh brand that is yrou radio, then im sure they will have a cage or two thatll work for you!
