Question Why do Audio companies have to use so many numbers

Audio companies use the most numbers and randomly picked letters like vn-34585 and how do they expect someone to remember that crap.Why can't they call it the earthquake or some simple name that can be easily remembered

alex053 will become famous soon enough
so that they can keep track of model years and most are logical

Rockford 501S
500 watts x 1 bridged @ 4 ohm if you can divide you can figure the rest of the power.
S = Stereo for a 2 channel amp

Rockford 551S
850 stereo amp. Power series cause they all have a 5 in it...(351M, 551X ect)

Rockford 551X
550 total watts
X for multi channel amp.

All of last years models were similar.......like last years was the 550X or the 500S
