I just bought an xm unit and I need to know how hard it is to install it. Should I do it myself or take somewhere to be done? If I do it myself how do I run the wires and where do they all go. Everything I have is Pioneer if that helps at all.

Xm units arent that hard to install. The hardest par is running the antenna. Depending on where you want it, it can be a pain in the ***. The easiest place to put it is on the trunk lid. If you put it on the roof you have to tuck the wires into the rear window molding. On the pioneer unit it should be just power and ground along with either the ip-bus cable or fm mod cable depending which system you have. The spot we always mount them at my shop is up under the rear deck so its out of the way. Save yourself the money its not that hard to do yourself.
