The shop I go to raves about this stuff.

I might buy this Cadence 1000 watt amp. Im not sure of the model number, but Im wondering on the quailty. Is it good? Worth the $425?

I have never heard of that brand before. Look for reviews online. It could be good or bad.

Well, they had one of those little "audio rooms" where they have it all wired to a central thingy and they can mix and match the systems. He hooked the amp to a JL 12 W7 and it powered it fine. It sounded great.

I dunno, I may get it. I was just looking to see if anyone had any experience with this stuff.

If your going to spend $425, I'd get a good name brand. I'd recommend either Eclipse or Rockford Fosgate. Eclipse has a little cleaner power, but with the Rockfords they have a little dash mount to change your gain, so you don't have to go back to the amp to change it all the time. I have 2 Eclipse 12's that are 300 watts a piece and a Rockford 300 watt amp pushing them just fine. If you have a high quality amp you won't need alot of watts.

I'm was just about to post about Cadence too. My friend has a system for sale. All brand new subs and amps. I was just wondering about the quality. The pricing is great for what the product offers.

cadence is ok, ive never heard their subs, but their amps are nice.

how do you figure that? power is power, regardless of anything. Especially in the sub 80 Hz range where the human ear cant hear distortion until it reaches 8-10%.

gotti, give me a model number on the amp. 425 is a bit steep for a kilowatt. What subs do you plan on running with it.

that price is fair. and is the eclipse new? it sounds liek it, since eclipse started a very aggressive pricing program this year...

when you buy from the audioshop you are paying for the warrantee. check out my post on the wrong way to act at a shop... he destroyed his pioneer in dash screen, bought online... he had to bend over adn eat the money loss
