u guys think this set up will work? suggestions?
hey guys, sorry for posting so many questions.
newaiz, i think im gonna get 2 rockford fosgate 1501bd's, and power an eclipse 12" titanium each. that shud me more than enuf power i think, im just gonna hafta change around my electrical system and wut not, but thats for later when i get more money.
but im not sure if thats too much power or wut. the 1501bd needs like a 150 A fuse i think, duz that mean i need 150 A current? i have no clue. sumone please clarify that, cuz im still kinda new to all this.
thx to everyone that has helped me so far

ok
first of all, yes, it may draw 150 amps at 100% power, but you dont run 100% power. youd run maybe 50% power at the MOST, also the fact that it isnt one constant bass note. Youre definitely gonna have to upgrade your electrical system to run over 3000 watts, but a 130 amp alt would be plenty. Email the people over at www.mralternator.com, they can hook you up with one for about 240 bucks last i heard.
