i was lookin around online for an amp, and i came across a phoenix gold octane R amps, it says it comes out in may, and i was wondering if anybody knos if its good or wutever.

Yes, Phoenix Gold is a good company. I think those specs are wrong....it's probably 1x500 at 4ohm and 1x1000 at 2ohm......kinda impossible for an amp to run more power at higher ohm loads....
As far as how good that particular line is, I dont know. THeir Titanium stuff rocks though.....the controlls can be a bit cryptic.

I have done a lot of research on that line (Octane R) because I am considering buying some.
One is 1500 *1 at 2 ohms, and they even have one that is 3000*1 at 2 ohms RMS, but that one is well over a grand.
They are geared towards "tuners" and import drivers.
I will write more of what I have learned about them later.
Also, do a search on Octane R because I have wrote a few things about them in the past.
Search PG's website as well...if you look good enough you will find a lot of info.
