you will prolly need a harness and a bracket if you are going from stock to aftermarket. You can go to BB or CC and ask in the garage and they will be like 15 bucks each...or you can get them for cheaper online.

When I did mine, I went to Circuit City and got their mount kit and wire harness (the 2 part version) for around 30. Of course you will want to run a decent power wire to the new deck and not use the stock one, so get yourself some 10 or better 8 guage wire for that to run to the battery.

Only other thing you need is patience while pulling it all apart. I scratched several things when doing it the first time, now it's something I do in my sleep easily since I've pulled it apart prolly 6 times since.

Of course you don't need the wiring harness(s) if you want to use the new deck's harness and hard wire the thing directly.

but you will still need the mount kit.

i always rerun a stouter power wire for my stereo components. its just my personal choice and i suggest it because it's a common practice. any good stereo shop will bypass the stock power for a non-stock head unit.

man, NO shop does that, they would have to charge a fortune to install due to the time it took for even a simple radio install!

standard shop work costs $80 an hour....
