thats a decent idea, but i want to be able to use the fold down feature of the seats if needed, and i dont want to have to worry about moving stuff. besides, it looks like too much work for just 1 amp.

how the heck could you get a normal amp in a glovebox and still put other stuff in there?

I mounted my Alpine M300 Sub Amp and Hifonics ZX6000 w/ JL XR crossovers on the back of both of my seats. I will post pics after I finish it all up this weekend, it looks really nice. You can fold down your seats whenever you want and your amps are there. It isn't that hard to make the mounts, IM me and ill explain it to you if you'd like. When you see the pics that I post later, you'll like it im sure. You cold make that mounting board that goes right behind your seat that many people are making, which I think is really cool, but I would think that the wood, or whatever, would kind of muffle the sound a little. Thats just my thinking though.

my diy's are unappreciated if your interested personally, id be glad to go into it.

for our cars, youd use a jigsaw to cut the identicla shape out between teh two. then youd use backstrapping and short screws to hold it in place, one support per dorner would do it.

as far as holding the amp flush, you cut out teh identicla shape, then countersink machine screws in where the amp mounting feet are, and use the nuts to hold it in. one to hold the bolt to teh wood, then 2 more on each side of the mounting foot.

dont forget to take acount of yrou covering material thickness!

then simply cover and install.

easy!

Put it under the front passenger seat. It should fit perfectly there. All you will need is a 200 watt 4 channel amp for your highs. There are opening's in the carpet to run wire's to your deck. Once you take your passenger side front seat out you will see what im talking about. If you want pictures of this just email me.

under the sub floor in the trunk in front of the spare. their is enugh room for most amps and it's stil hidden and looks and functions factory.

Just watch out for your amp if you ever need to pull your spare out.

Right on jeff...I got both my amps there with the spare intoo. plus my sirius tuner and fuse holders. I also made a removeable piece to show the amps in the well with a ittle neon. not hard to do at all. It's a very stealth install.

You can mount it on the door, you can put it on the floor...

You can mount it on the seat, you can put it under your feet...

You can put it here or there...

You can put it Anywhere!

My 4 channel is mounted to the very front of the spare tire well. Its out of the way and definatly easy to run wires to.
