Unhappy NEED HELP!

I bought an IN-Dash DVD-Panasonic CY-VMD9000U. When i turn on the car everything is on but i cannot get the screen to come out. It will not let me use any button or even eject the disk. Does anyone know waht im doing wrong?

Take it back and get a new one. First check all you wirring to make sure everything is connected properly. Then ake it back and get a new one it might just be a bad unit.

Don't just take it back. did you do the install yourself? If so tell us more about the install. Did you hook up the wire to the E-Brake?

Okay, You didn't hear this from me because it is illegal in my state. I installed the Kenwood KDC-910 in my car and in order to get the screen to work, you have to wire the marked lead to the e-brake. I, however, took it upon myself to ground the relay and that bypassed the "safety" feature all together. You are not supposed to be able to view video from the driver's seat while the car is in motion but that defeats the purpose of spending that much money on something that cool.
