Someone help?

OK, I ordered my fatmat...208 SQ. feet and a hoodliner My question is, I want to fatmat the firewall, so does anyone know how to remove the dashboard? I saw a thread asking the same question a couple weeks ago, but it didnt have an answer when I saw it, and now I cant find it. (searched)

Any help would be greately appreciated...thanks!

ZSKCivic01 is an unknown quantity at this point
I have already fatmatted my whole trunk and tomorrow im going to remove the rear deck and side panels to fatmat those areas to stop all the rattles. I don't think that you need to fatmat the firewall, it is pretty thick already, as most firewalls are, to keep engine heat from dissipating into the passenger compartmnent. More than 200ft of fatmat is alot, I lined my whole trunk and I still have more than 50ft of the total 100ft left. I would just do the whole trunk, rear deck, rear quarter and door panels with a double dose of fatmat and that should really insulate things. That is my suggestion, I really don't think the firewall is necessary, but if you want to, give it a shot. The only thing that I worry about is all those wires behind the dash and getting them messed up. It can get pretty complicated back there.

I donno, it's my understanding that the firewall is just a peice of sheetmetal....I didnt really notice any heat repelling stuff anywhere.....and I am trying to cut out road noise....I got 208 Sq. feet so I can double layer the whole car, including the doors, body pan, roof, side panels, trunk.......I'm also putting a sheet on the hood, and covering that with the hood liner....gonna try and get rid of engine noise too. my car should be quiet as a lexus when i'm done. It better be anyway, since i'm stripping the whole damn thing.
