Strange effects after amp hooking up please help!

Ok. So am installing an amp. I hooked up the power to it, connected the remote using a wire tap to the back of the cig, accessory yellow wire. Then i grounded the amp to the bottom bolt on the back of the rear passenger seat underneith the velcro carpet part. I guess its on the the silver bracket..

So i start plugging everything up. Once i attach the power cable to the battery My radio starts to play. And it can be only turned of manuelly, with power always going to it. My amp Power light did not turn on either..
My friend gave me this amp. but he says it works.

What do you think caused my radio to be on?

someone with knowlodge of this stuff please let me know what you think is happening and what i should do

you grounded it to the actual seat ... when they told you the bolt to the seat, they meant pull of the fold down seats, then the seat you *** goes on has a bolt into the car.

Ok, that would probably explain why the amp wouldnt turn on.

how about why the raido went on and stays on?
that makes no sense to me.

because you connected the ignition wire to the constant 12v wire... the red one from the deck should not be connected to the yellow one.

deck = radio, not rear deck, and we're not talking about your remote wire. hold up... why did you hook up an aftermarket radio to teh cigarette lighter

I know that deck refers to radio. And i didnt hook up an after market radio to the accesory wire.

All i did was attach the blue remote wire to the cig lighter. so that my amp would turn on and off with the car.

I can't figure out why my Stock HU would remain on. once i attached the amp power wire to the battery.

your blue wire from the hu should be conected to the amp to turn on when the radio is on. not to the sig lighter
