Im thinkin Three JL 8w?s with a custom box at the back of the trunk to maxamize trunk space.....Vented box?? or should i go with sealed...Also throw in some more suggestions about different subs - lightest loudest system.

with 3 jl is going to be heavy, if you want something light i say like one 10"

you know, for the most part, unless youre using some ridiculous subs, the majority of weight comes from the enclosure, not the sub. Either get a box made from fiberglass, or stop worrying about your slow *** civic. 50 pounds won't affect your speed enough for you to ever notice, and if you do think you notice, its psychological.

I have one JL 8w3 in a ported box and i liked it a lot. I still have it now, i'm thinking about makign a fiber glass box for it. What Lud said is very true.. My 8w3 in a .75" MDF box is heavier than my sealed 12" infinity in a fiberglass box. The 8w3 in a fiber glass box should be very light. I think i might be selling the 8w3 by the way [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] I can try make you a box as well, it fits under teh stock trunk floor next to the spare, so you don't lose any trunk space neither [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

You know what, did i ever mention i was trying to loose weight for a faster civic? NO
Sorry though i dont know why i said lighest loudest like that, im more looking for something not so BULKY like my sub enclosure right now its a 12 in a big box and i just dont like it much....I think i can even get Much better bass out of 3 8s
