any one know where i can get a diy for making a bampass box??

I believe that you mean bandpass. And yes, you can go to blaupunkt.com. Or at least you could once. I got a fairly old, but decent program from them, called "blaubox designer", and it will compute size and draw an exploded view of a box for you, pretty much any type. It's an MS-DOS program, but will work in a window. All you need is the spec sheet from your sub, it will help you to compute the proper length and diameter of your vent, to get the best "boom" for your buck. I don't know if I can upload the program here for download, so PM me if you can't find it on the website, and I'll send you a copy to your e-mail.

Bandpass is the devil!!! im doing some testing now and am using a bandpass to see how our speakers like it.....its loud but it sounds like ***...on any beat with more that one frequency of bass note it gets muddy and lost in the noise. Also if your going to build a bandpass yourself, its probly going to be wrong. No offense but they are a pain in the *** to build and build right. They sell a ton at your local shop cause they are loud and most kids just want that.....do yourself a favor and build a ported box. you will be much happier.
