need help with amp

ok when u put the power wire from the outside to the inside passgenger side. where do u put it through at i read the diy and am not sure if he means behind the velcro or to the left of the velcro where all th other wires are. also do you need to remove the side panels in the backseat to run the wire through or can u just shove it through there?

thanks,
chris

I'm not sure what you're talkign about.. but if you're tryign to put the power wire through the firewall, you can put it through the grommett in the footwell of the passenger side.

to hook up an amp to a HU that doens't have RCA outputs, you can either splice the rear speakers to the amp's line level imput (if it has them) or get a line level convertor to convert speaker level wires to RCAs.

Pull the carpet back from up under the passenger side and over kind of to the left you will see a place where many wires pass through a rubber insert into the engine bay. Just get a hanger and push it through that insert, it may take a few times to get it through, just don't force too much if it won't go. After you get it into the engine bay, tape a good amount of the power wire to the hanger and slowly pull it back inside the car, this may also take a few times. Hope this help!

YESSSS!!!!! thank you ZSKCivic01!!!! I've been trying to find an answer for my question for a long time!!! I was wondering the same thing about the passenger side hole. I thought it was behind the velcro peice so i cut a square shape peice out and started poking at it but it was solid metal! I was like WTF!?! where's this hole that every one is talking about but then I noticed the bundle of wires to the left and tried that... PRESTO! it worked.. I just wasn't too sure if that's the hole everyone was talking about.
