Tweets blown?
I have the infinity 605cs components se. It was pointed out to me a few weeks ago that there is no sound coming out of the tweets, niether of them. Is it possible that they are blown, I am only running a 4 channel kenwood amp. Or could they have come loose at the crossover point? But I mean there is no sound from either side, so I am not sure how likely both sides will be loose, will I have to open the door panel to check myself (the crossover is in the door panel). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

One time I noticed the left side tweet was out so I opened the door panel and fooled with the connections. They may have just come loose.
loose connections prolly...check x-over, u say both can't be loose at the same time, but it's less likely that they both blew at the same time too ^_^ unless u are rough with ur system. Speakers can blow ANYTIME, just that the probabity is very low for newer ones. good luck with urs!
where did you buy your speakers at? I bought my infinity 605cs's from ikesound and when I blew one of my midbass speakers they replaced it just fine. Ike gives a 3 year warranty on all infinity products. Other online dealers do similar things as well. Just thought I'd mention it.
