Got my 18" Kicker comp VR
Yup.. my new coffee table.. paid $50cad for it.. it smoked up at a competition, but both VC's still read 3.8 ohms... and the cone freely moves. he he he.. new sub for my bedroom

50cad?but hows the sound??still good?for 50 its cool to have a coffee table even if it dont make sound!!!ikea go more than that!!mohwakboom, i hve a question is it the higher pre amp out of hu, the better it sound if connected to amp and sub?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

not the better sound.. the less gain on your amp is needed, so the less unwanted noises get amplified with the music signal.
And no clue on the sound..I'm gonna hook it up on my little 40 watt sub amp at home free air later

Volt meter.. and yeah.. burned VC..either some copils touch and lower the resistance..or you get an infinite resistance reading it they melted and seperated.
