tweeters in back

Hi,
Is it possible, or good for sound quality, to mount tweeters in the back? like right where the windows are?
I want to know this because a while ago i read a post where it said that getting 3-way speakers aren't that great because some of the frequencies will be cancelled out..
thx

in REAL sound quality setups, rears are only supposed to play midrange frequencies, but its all about what you like best... too many tweeters will sound like *** htough

Ludlam is right, in a competition setup, your sound stage should be in fromt of you with nothing from the rear. you can fill your whole car with lively sound from front speakers only (in the kick panel). but, it is whatever you like...just remember...an ideal system is getting the best sound possible from as little speakers as possible...

What's up Ludlam?
