Amp Setting?
Hey everyone, I just recieved my amplifier and installed it today with my sub and got it all working. I have a JL Audio 12w3 w/ Alpine MRD-M300 as my system. The M300 has 10 settings and I don't know what most of them mean so I am guessing I can get my sub alot louder and get it to sound better, since I haven't really tampered with the amplifier. I was wondering if you all could help me with the settings to get my sub sounding its best:
1. Input Mode - 1ch or 2ch? 0dB/ -6dB?
2. Low Pass Filter - On or Off? 30-200Hz?
3. Subsonic Filter - On or Off? 15Hz-50Hz?
4. Parametric Equilizer - On or Off? 30Hz-160Hz? Width 1 or 3?
5. Bass Compensation - On or Off?
6. Time Correction - On or Off? 0ms - 10ms?
7. Phase - 0/180?
8. Safe Mode - On or Off?
9. Memory - Write mode Yes or No? Read Mode Yes or No?
I hope you all understand this. These are all the options under each option. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

1. select 1 channel if you have one rca for the subs signal and 2 channel if you have 2 rca's for the subs signal
2. definatly put the LPF on look up the specs on your sub and see what frequencies its capable of. i have my LPF set at 125 hz
3. On, used to stop the sub from wastin power trying to reproduce frequencies that it cant make. neccesary if your using a ported box.
4. No clue
5. probably a bass boost feature, play around with it and see waht sounds better.
6. used if you have a time delay problem because of wiring length. you shouldnt need this feature.
7. used if your subs are wired in reverse phase. experiemnt with each setting and see which one sounds better.
8. not a clue
9. write mode is used to save your changes, read mode is when you cant make changes

The input I don't understand. When you say one or two RCA is what im getting confused on. Front my HU to the amp, I have I guess one RCA, just red and white that hook up to the amp.
