What are the best 6 1/2 and 6x9 speakers out there

the ones you think sound the best. do you think that BOSS brand 2 way 6.5 inch coaxial speakers sound better than a/d/s $3000 components designed specifically to replace the bose system in a bimmer? than as far as you should care, those boss speakers are the best.

"best" is highly subjective. many think that entry or midlevel speakers sound absolutely fantastic. why should you care that someone else thinks a $7000 speaker set sounds "better" if you cant even tell the difference!

i suggest you go to as many shops as you can find and demo every speaker they have on the wall. from there, you cna determine what YOU think is the "best" and what fits YOUR needs best, in midbass, highs, budget, physical installability, etc etc etc.....
