Rep Power: 0 i installed a set of JBL 6" components. it won't fit so i drilled new holes and it had a gap so i stuck some styro in it...its not fully sealed. it sounds good but i know it would sound great if it was sealed.

Rep Power: 291 When I got my door speakers from Crutchfield (yeah, yeah, no Crutchfield bashing please!), they recommended speaker baffles due to (they say) too much resonance in the doors. At the time, I was not buying it, thinking it was just to upsell me extra stuff. Now I'm wondering if it wouldn't actually sound better after all??
