When I got my door speakers from Crutchfield (yeah, yeah, no Crutchfield bashing please!), they recommended speaker baffles due to (they say) too much resonance in the doors. At the time, I was not buying it, thinking it was just to upsell me extra stuff. Now I'm wondering if it wouldn't actually sound better after all??
