kenwood subs
does anyone know how good the kenwood 12'' subs are. they are rated at 600w rms and 1200w max. they are a good price but I need to know about the quality.

Rep Power: 0 As far as I know their ***. but that doesn't mean a whole lot.
Sub's all give diff tones and levels and stuff, it all depends what kind of a system you want. (loud, clear, cheap, flashy, etc)
I guess what I'm saying is if you like the way they sound, Their ok.. If you don't their not.
Personaaly I run two Alpine 10's on a SoundStream Rubicon, with a clarion Pro audio front end. (I like clear and loud)

Rep Power: 338 we put last years model in a volvo. FOUR OF THEM. and it still only hit 140.7, even with 1200 rms! we couldnt get them to sound good, no matter what we did. with no doubt, follow factory reccommended spec box to the tooth, if you built custom, cause no amount of tuning and playing with the t/s parameters would model a good box that performed as it looked.
