Non Fading output?
I'm getting ready to install a Kenwood amp and a Infinity sub-woofer and had a few questions.
I've already looked but couldn't find any info on exactly what are the "non-fading outputs" that come out the back of my Kenwood HU?
The manual doesn't explain what they are.
Since I'm going to use the amp to power the sub only,
would I hook up the RCA cables from the amp to the non-fading outputs?
I know that I need to "bridge" the sub to the amp.
another question I had was, the amp install kit the guy sold me has a 10 guage power wire
and a 10 gauge ground wire. will this be good enough for my amp?
Its a Kenwood KAC 729S.
Power output is 200w x 2 for normal and 600w x 1 Bridged.

Non fading outputs are outputs that do not fade from front to rear when the fader is adjusted on the reciever. Yes, you would connect your sub amp to these outputs. As far as the wire size, in my opinion you would need a bigger cable, maybe 8 guage or larger just to be safe.
i would go with bigger wire for sure i got 8 gauge run through my car and im fixing to have to pull it all out cause im goin to run 4
the non fading outputs are meant to go to the sub so if you are running a front and rear amp set up u can adjust the interior speakers fade and not lose any bass. Your HU should also have a nonfading output level so you can adjust the sub only

thanks for clearing that up for me.
I think I'll take the 10 gauge amp kit back and get the 8 gauge kit instead.
His reason for selling me the 10 gauge kit is because he said the connector on the 8 gauge kit wouldn't fit on my amp!?
can't you just get a connector that will fit?
once again I want thank everyone on this site that help people like me.(newbies)
because some of the simplest things can be intimidating if you've never done it before.
