Did a search... couldn't find anything.
Are there any advantages/disadvantages between the a dual sub box and two single sub boxes? I was looking to take my two subs out of my current dual sub box and put them into two single boxes. I also plan on mounting them on a solid plywood base in the trunk.

theres teh advantage that it lets you play with facing the boxes, you can get them to minimize as many cancellations as possible in teh area of yoru choice, given enough tuning. a big disadvantage is that they can misalign, or not face them in ideal directions, causing even more cancelations than with a single box or dual box with teh woofers on teh same plane.

only real advantage i can see is just more tuning ability. would make a good precursor to doing a 4 woofer setup in a "W" shapped baffle, to determine the best angle in yoru car....
