is there much difference in a year's diff. in subs........like dealer tells me this years model is like 350 and i can find it on computer for like a hundred less and i ask him about it and he says well its probably last years model.........is it a bs tactic or is there an actual difference

yes there is a huge difference between these model years, if you are talking abotu teh m6's they just released for the very current model year. our diamond dealer went through the whole deal with us, all teh improvements they made, new box specs, everything. they actually look like a relaly nifty woofer.

other notable design changes over a single model year would be pioneers 8 series radio, now with 2 faces, audiobahns alum series in 2001, fixed the glue problem in teh surround, and kickers 2001 line (i forgot the exact year) introduced the L7, and later upgraded the VR's

for sure between model years there can be huge huge differences in product. supposedly the idmax v3 is out to kill the w7.......
