whats up guys? quick question, give me ur opinions. i have 2 cerwin vega 12's right now. do you think that getting 2 15's is really worth it? i wanna get louder, by alot. i was thinking about either 2 15' L7's or 2 15" jl w3's. i would be running a punch 800 to each speaker. some one told me that 2 10's would sound better in a civic. what should i do? keep the 12's or go bigger?

you dont necessarily have to go bigger to get louder... theres single 10 setups out there that will blow your eardrums... literally... whats your budget lookin like?

if loud is yoru only consideration, run as much power you can to as much cone area you can. that means lots of big speakers, lots of big power.

well the most i will spend is 300 bucks a speaker. i have both amps and 2 1 farad capacitors. i guess i want the loudest bang for the buck. i am looking to go SPL rather than SQL. i hope that helps some.

Okay, well are you willing to sacrifice your entire trunk for this?.. if so... stick with the RF amps if you have them, and get either a 15" Eclipse titanium, a 15" DD9515, a 15" Adire audio Brahma, a 15" Audiomobile EVO-R..and wire 1 amp to each coil....put the sub in alarge ported enclosure tuned about 5hz below your cars resonant frequency and you'll be deaf in no time.. 1 15 in a large ported box with alot of port area will very easily outperform a pair of 15's in aselaed or even small ported boxes..

Cheers
