Infinity Reference 6.5 for front doors?

How are the latest Infinity 6.5's with the swiveling tweeter? I'm looking into getting a set to replace the 6.5's in the front doors. Should they fit without a problem? Everything else would be stock in the system.

I have these speakers for the doors and rear deck (sedan). For the price, you can't beat them. Some features that distinguish them from other speakers in the same class:

-30% larger cone for better and louder bass
-silk dome tweeter with pivot

Infinity is well known for car audio stuff. I also have two infinity reference 10'' subs and they sound great. But yeah, the speakers are highly recommended.

I would strongly recommend getting both front doors dynamatted ($150 with install) otherwise you will get panel distortion with the highs (common with any speaker in door panel).
With dynamat, the speakers sound so good--almost like they are amplified. You will also be able to hear them louder over the rear speakers after the dynamat.

By the way, I had them installed at Circuit city and they did a great job! No probs with fitment.

Four speakers with install ran me about $300. If you're just getting 2, it should be $100 plus $65 or more for install. Go for it

I'm never letting Circuit City touch my car again. The only reason they did the first time was because I wasn't at all confident installing an alarm, and because I worked there, so the car never left my sight. The speakers don't look too bad to install, I was only concerned about the depth... but it looks like it will just clear by looking at the specs on Infinity's web site. Thanks for your feedback.
