Is running two different Rockfords gonna cause a problem?

This isn't the setup i want, but it's better than nothing. I still need to get off my *** and order in an IDMAX. But anyway, Will running a Rockford HE2 (4ohm DVC), and a Punch HX2 (4ohm DVC), with the same amount of power, in the same box, gonna cause any problems?

And also, what size/kind of box should i be building to put in the trunk of my civic coupe with these subs. each sub will be getting slightly over 250RMS.

and Mohawk, don't worry, I didn't go out and buy that HX2, a friend gave it to me (he owe's me a lot of money, lol).

it's gonna sound pretty weird.. also the sub with less excursion will have a higher reactive resistance. When the sub with more excursion moves out..it actually tries pulling other sub in as it's sucking more air in the box creating a larger area of vacuum.. It causes undue stress on the amplifier and generally ends up sounding very boomy..

yes. but i don't think i'd be able to get enough out of those 2 subs for an IDMAX. the way i see it.

HE2 = 200CDN
HX2 = 400CDN

those are just guesses.
But I could run the HX2 for now. no HE2. And then, when i have some extra cash. sell em and get the IDMAX.

from what i've heard, the only way you can really run 2 different types of subs in the same car is if they have separate amps, and are in separate places (i.e. 1 in the trunk and one in the backseat.... although i dunno if i would... you could just throw one on the floor right in front of the passenger seat =)
