What is the bast way?
Can any body help me? I have 2 kenwood 6.5 speakers, 2 6x9 kenwoods, and 3 audiobahn 12" subs in a bandpass box. I can't decide how to power all the speakers. What amp size,style,brand,should I use? Rep Power: 0 if its the box you bought from audiobahn with the aluminum ports then its 900rms total for all 3...
what model kenwoods? are those ratings you gave rms or peak...
are you looking to keep it to 1 amp, or is 2 fine for you...
how much are you willing to spend...
all this wil make this easier for us... i could say get a buncha pyramid amps, or a brax 6 channel... price difference? thousands

Rep Power: 298 The wattage was peak. The 6.5's are the kfc-hq138. And the 6x9's are the kfc-hq698. those are 300watt peak. I'm trying not to go broke, but I'm not going to be cheap. I was thinking of a 5 ch amp to run the 4 speakers and one sub, and getting a 2 ch amp to run the other subs. Also do you know anything about audiobahn? I just bought it for the box. I'ts not here yet because I live in Germany
and it takes for ever for stuff to get here. I wanted to put 3 MTX subs in it. What do you think.

Rep Power: 0 the box is specifically made for those speakers.... the audiobahn's will be loud, but as to sound quality, it'll be lacking, and for sound quality, putting any other speakers in that box won't be the best thing in the world...
you're also gonna want to put all 3 speakers to one load, so you can run it off a 1 channel amp... 2 different amps to 1 kind of sub = no no
for those speakers you'll probably want a 75x4 rms and a sub amp...
you'll probably have 38 other opinions on the matter, but what I would do is use a kicker KX600.4 for the kenwoods, and a jbl BP600.1 for the sub box...
those 2 amps could be purchased for around $475 US
