Which sub did you pick up?.. what kind of enclosure do you have it in?.. How much power are you feeding it?. If ported..what's the tuning..how much port area..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. if your gonna give a review..give a review..not a 1 word comment..if I did that I'd say something like..

RE is just for bass the sq of that sub is close to a pile of poo [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] j/k i havent heard them but im glad you like it

also ED has a very valid point whats else is in your system

I have a panosonic h/u 2 pairs of planet audio tweeter, planet audio in the decklid,planet audio door speakers, two planet audio crossovers,and a pioneer 4x150 watt amp, I have a 1.4 cu ft box w/ a 1" port that is running parallel w/ the re audio sub. all my tweeter and door/decklid speakers are running off the a channels, and I have the b channels bridged. Is that enough info!!! LOL

I have the se series, I listen to RAP the small port is for that kind of music, if I listen to rock I would have a bigger port.

you have to tune your port not just cut a hole in the box and call it a day.

I didn't cut a whole in my box for a port. if you read the thread I have a 1" port running parrallel with the sub ---- my neighbor is into SPL and he built my box trust me it is right

Okay so it's basically a skinny rectangle?.. it's a 1" wide by how many inches long slot port?

it is like 14 or 15" long and the one inch rectangle is on the opposite side of the sub
