SUB Problems

I removed my Hu to paint my center compartment. When I went to hook everything back up all of my speakers worked great but nada from my subs... So I took it back out and checked the connections, and all were made correctly and tight. I can feel the subs just BARELY moving when the music plays if I touch them.



Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of subs, amp, etc .....

If the Subs are dual voice coil make sure one coil isn't wired backwards.

If one coil is pushing and the other is pulling nothing happens even though everything is correct.

push + push = bass, bass, bass
push + pull = no bass at all even at full volume

I am using PPI Pc1400 and 2 Image Dynamic IDQ12

But... I did not change any of the wireing. The only thing that I did was remove the hu and center plastic piece. Before I did this they were working fine but now nada.

Maybe some settings on the player changed? did you remove the power on the car?

Nope, already checked that... I did notice that my fuse box for the stereo is pretty messed up so I am going to get a new one and check the fuse.

Ok, thanks for the help... I found it. It was just the remote wire was loose.
