clarion dvd al in one: $2499.99
a/d/s M3 designed component speakers: $1199.99
JL 300/2 for stage: $479.99
three 10w6, refurbished: $175, each
JL 1000/1 for woofers: $1099.99
custom box for w6's: $300
amp install kit to handle such current draw: $175
labor at shop for install: $350
sum total, tax, title, and out the door: $6763.55
thats retail prices, all installed at a shop. I assume your not looking for a DVD system for an M3, that youll want rearfill, and that you want 5.1 sound? that your choice of subwoofers would be diffrent, and that you wont be paying retail prices. This is just one system the two of us looked into, there are certainly other options, but at retail, those dvd units are not cheap. for sure, at retail pricing, youll be hell bent to find a high end video setup fo rless than 5G. unless you want an overhead console. you cna do JUST the video in that case for about 1600. no audio, and FM modulated dvd sound, to boot. if you want headrest monitors, retail pricing is a buck an inch for those, so about $700 per side. thats JUST parts, again, no labor.
if you shop online, you can probably go cheaper tho.
